Facial Fillers To Enhance Youthfulness And Give Volume To Your Features
Dermal Fillers are made of hyaluronic acid, which is a naturally occurring sugar chain molecule found in all skin and soft tissues throughout the body, it is the chemical which provides volume and hydration to the skin, which decreases as we age.
Fillers work by injecting a clear, sterile gel made of hyaluronic acid into the areas to be treated, which works to improve volume immediately.
Due to weak regulation, there are over 160 brands on the market in the UK and not all hyaluronic acids will provide the same results.
Dr Zak is a trained GP and accredited by Save Face, he will use only tried and tested brands and uses his experience as a qualified GP, specialising in skin, to assess whether dermal fillers are suitable for you, as well as realistic expected outcomes.

FAQs
The treatment is generally described as uncomfortable rather than painful, however different people and areas of the face are more sensitive. Some report that dermal fillers are slightly more painful than anti-wrinkle injections.
Most brands also contain a local anaesthetic and we will apply topical anaesthetic cream, or ice, prior to treatment to numb the skin.
This will vary between products and individuals, but most will last between 6 months and 18 months.
If you choose not to maintain the results with further treatment, your skin will return to its pretreatment state over time.
Dermal fillers are safe, but not risk free, Dr Zak will discuss all the risks and benefits with you at consultation.
We offer facial aesthetic treatments such as anti-wrinkle injections and Skin Rejuvenation (micro needling) at the clinic. You can enquire about the other treatments available to you at your consultation, or call us here.
